Using an ice bath can cause your core body temperature to drop dramatically. Immersing yourself in cold water causes your blood vessels to constrict and blood flow to slow throughout your body. How long does the water last?
To ensure optimal water quality, we recommend that you keep the cooling system running continuously. Once the desired temperature is reached, the system goes into standby mode, which continues to circulate and filter the water. A constant low water temperature contributes significantly to reducing bacteria in the water. The cooling system works to maintain the target temperature and automatically switches back on when the temperature deviates by about 1-2 degrees. Under normal conditions, the water can be used for about 3-4 weeks with regular use.
How quickly does the water cool down?
As a rule, the standard cooling system lowers the water temperature by around 1-1.5 degrees per hour, although this effect is influenced by the outside temperature. In extreme summer conditions, for example from around 26 degrees Celsius, the cooling capacity can decrease to around 0.5 degrees per hour.
It is easier for the standard cooling system to maintain a constant temperature between 3 and 6 degrees than to cool down from 16 degrees every day. The colder the water gets, the longer it takes for the cooling system to reach the desired temperature.
The average temperature in the previous summer was 19.2 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, on particularly hot summer days, water temperatures of 4-7 degrees can be reached in the ice barrel if the pool is properly insulated.
The Pro cooling system achieves an output of 3-5 degrees per hour under normal conditions, and at around 26 degrees Celsius in summer it also has slightly less output than under normal conditions.

How do I maintain the standard cooling system?
The maintenance of this cooling system is limited exclusively to the filter, which can simply be washed.
The standard cooling system is completely sealed and leak-tested, so it generally does not require regular maintenance. The components and suction pumps installed have an exceptionally long service life and should last more than 10 years with continuous operation.
