
As an athletics and rehabilitation coach at 1. FC Magdeburg, the rapid regeneration of our players is very important to me. That's why we decided to integrate ice bathing into our regeneration process. Our players use the ice barrel regularly, especially after intensive training sessions and games. We notice that the regeneration time has shortened since then and our players feel more refreshed. The benefits are particularly evident in phases of high stress, as the players can return to their performance level more quickly. From a sports science perspective and from our practice in everyday training, I can recommend it as an extremely useful addition to promote regeneration and performance.
