WHICH COOLING SYSTEM IS RIGHT FOR ME?
As a rule, the standard cooling system lowers the water temperature by about 1-2 degrees per hour, although this effect is influenced by the outside temperature. In extreme summer conditions, for example from 27 degrees Celsius, the cooling capacity can decrease to about 0.5 - 1 degree per hour.
It is easier for the cooling system to maintain a constant temperature between 3 and 6 degrees than to cool down from 16 degrees every day. The colder the water gets, the longer it takes for the cooling system to reach the desired temperature.
The average temperature in the previous summer was 19.2 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, on particularly hot summer days, water temperatures of 4-7 degrees can be reached in the ice barrel if the pool is properly insulated.
The Pro cooling system achieves an output of 3-4 degrees per hour under normal conditions, and at 27 degrees Celsius in summer it also has slightly less output than under normal conditions.
How quickly does the water cool down?
standard cooling system
The standard cooling system lowers the water temperature by about 1-2°C per hour, depending on the outside temperature. On hot summer days, from about 26°C, the cooling may take a little longer, about 0.5-1°C per hour.
Pro cooling system
The Pro cooling system offers more efficient cooling performance and reduces the water temperature by about 3-4°C per hour.
In summer, performance may be slightly lower than under normal conditions.
Can I place the ice barrel outdoors?
Yes! The ice barrel is designed to work in any environment. If you live in Germany, the Basic cooling system works great, but can go a few degrees higher in the heat of summer. If you need 3 - 4° Celsius all the time in summer, we recommend our Pro cooling system.
When winter comes and it gets cold for longer periods, the Basic cooling system must be winterized to prevent it from freezing.
How long or difficult is the installation?
The setup is really simple. All you need is a stable surface to place the ice barrel on and a standard 230V power outlet nearby. Most of the setup time consists of waiting for the ice barrel to fill with water.
How does the delivery work?
You will receive a notification via SMS and email to arrange a delivery time slot that suits you. The shipping company will contact you.
Do we also deliver abroad?
Yes! Simply enter your country and address at checkout and you will receive a shipping quote.
Is the cooling system noisy?
In our test with a measuring device in front of the standard cooling system, the value was around 52 - 55 decibels, with the Pro cooling system it was around 60 decibels. You hear the noise of a fan when the cooling system is running.
How cold will the water be?
The water can reach 3 ° Celsius.

How often do I have to change the water?
To ensure optimal water quality, we recommend that you keep the cooling system running continuously. As soon as the desired temperature is reached, the system switches to standby mode, which means the water continues to circulate and filter. A constant low water temperature contributes significantly to reducing bacteria in the water. The cooling system works to maintain the target temperature and switches back on automatically when the temperature deviates by about 1 degree. Under normal conditions, the water can be used for about 3-4 weeks with regular use with the Basic cooling system. With the Pro cooling system, 2-3 months is not uncommon due to the ozone cleaning.
